Privacy
Short version: we don't track you, and we don't sell anything.
What this site collects
- Analytics. No analytics script is running on this site at the moment.
- Hosting logs. The site is served by Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for a short period to run the service.
- Audio playback. Episode audio streams from the Internet Archive (archive.org). When you press play, your browser requests the file from them and they see your IP address, as with any website.
- The archive password. Unlocking the audio sets one cookie on this site (
mdk_archive) so you don't have to re-enter the password for 30 days. It contains no personal information. - Player position. Where you left off in an episode is stored in your own browser's local storage and never sent anywhere.
- Contact form. If you write to us through the form, Netlify stores the message so we can read it. We don't add you to any list.
What it doesn't do
No advertising, no third-party trackers, no social-media pixels, no newsletter unless you ask for one, no selling or sharing of anything.
